IBN Immigration Solutions and K2 Workshop
6 November 2019
8am, ready to start at 8.30am.
The Capital 20 West, 20 West Road South, Morningside, Sandton, South Africa.
More and more companies are spreading out into the rest of Africa or unbundling their EMEA reporting structures, making Africa a separate organisational region in line with their Africa expansion strategies. This often requires an overhaul of HR reporting structures and processes. Lessons learned in other regions of the world do not always apply to Africa, forcing HR directors to enter unknown territory with little to fall back on.
Our session will focus on how to successfully structure your Africa operations and how to establish your company’s HR structures in support of this.
The following two speakers will share their stories and lessons learned:
Meryn Pringle – ex global mobility manager, Africa & Asia
Subsequent to investing 19 years for 2 of the largest brewers in the world and privileged to witness the largest FMCG takeover, Meryn Pringle, would like to share her practices and lessons learnt. These will not only include global mobility, reward and business strategy but from the unique observation of the expat family unit, providing a holistic view of the impact on all stakeholders which continues to evolve. Are you equipped for the new movement?
Robyn de Villiers – Burson Cohn & Wolfe, Founder, Chairman & CEO Africa
After spending 27 years building the premier strategic communications network across Africa, Robyn de Villiers has learnt many lessons and she continues to do so. She has an interesting story to tell and is keen to share her lessons with us – reputation lessons, people lessons, lessons about culture and unconscious bias – lessons that have led to many years of success and the story is still unfolding.
The event will be very interactive, allowing you to share experiences and challenges with your colleagues in the industry.
